Cwt Mochyn is the perfect home from home dog-friendly holiday cottage; a rural retreat for family holidays and group holidays. This luxury, eco-friendly, self-catering holiday cottage is a former stone cow barn with adjoining pig sty, converted into a large, detached, single-storey cottage which sleeps six, plus one infant (cot provided) and up to two dogs.
An enclosed south-facing garden overlooks our wild grassland area and features a lawn and patio, table, chairs and barbecue, and bird feeders.
The kitchen is modern, well equipped and includes a built-in microwave and separate oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine.
Original stone walls and exposed wooden beams have been retained in the dining room, where French windows lead out onto the patio area.
The sitting room, which also features stone walls and exposed wooden beams, has a wood burning stove, LCD TV with Freesat, DVD/CD player (with connector for iPods and other mp3 devices), tuner, amplifier & speakers. A selection of books, CDs, DVDs, games and jigsaws are provided.
A separate family bathroom comprises toilet and bath with overhead shower.
Organic and Fair Trade bed linen and towels are provided (one hand towel and one shower towel per person). Vintage Welsh blankets and hot water bottles from Jane Beck Welsh Blankets will keep you extra cosy with toasty toes on winter nights.
Guests staying in Cwt Mochyn cottage have access to additional facilities and services.
Cwt Mochyn cottage is a non-smoking property. Guests are welcome to bring up to two four-legged friends. Dogs are permitted in the enclosed garden but due to the presence of tempting cats, chickens and other animals, dogs must be kept on the lead and under control at all times when outside the garden.

"Came away for a get together with our son and daughter and we’ve had such a lovely time. Cwt Mochyn is a real find and we can’t wait to return. The sun has shone and we’ve made the most of it, eating al-fresco on the patio and some great walks. This is such a peaceful area – great to hear nothing but birdsong. Our time has gone too quickly.”

"What a find! In 50 years of self-catering Cwt Mochyn is the best. We can’t leave without mentioning the information book. Never have we come across so much detail to help guests enjoy their stay – it’s outstanding."
